Sales Development Representative

UA Builders employs a staff of over 200, including project managers, estimators, BIM specialists, and site personnel with engineering, architectural, accounting, and computer science expertise. The firm offers a complete range of services, from site selection analysis to constructability reviews, interior fit-outs, new ground-up construction, and building infrastructure upgrades.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and vetting new sales leads to support Business Development initiatives by securing appointments. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including Bid Clerk, and Dodge Global Network, prospect lists, and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • High volume e-mailing with end-goal to set appointments for introductory meetings
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Deep understanding of outbound prospecting, including script development, target account management, email writing, and usage of social media in prospecting and securing meetings
  • Manage data for new and prospective customers within CRM (Salesforce), ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Contribute to and execute a strategy to drive new client acquisition
  • Work with Business Development team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet goals, by vetting prospective clients.
  • Work alongside Marketing Specialist to identify emerging verticals and to conduct data-driven communication with prospects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have 2 to 5 years of experience in prospecting new business to generate revenue and promote the company.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Must be flexible and have strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong ability to work with others: colleagues, and management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
